Our First Step Toward Change: Amaetiti Community Primary School, Oji River, Enugu State, Nigeria
While the Nkem & Ngozi Ikekpeazu Foundation is in the early stages of its work, an important milestone has already been achieved through our first flagship initiative at Amaetiti Community Primary School, Oji River, Enugu State, Nigeria. We are proud to share that the project has received strong community buy-in and support from local stakeholders, parents, and school representatives. This partnership ensures that planned improvements reflect genuine community needs and will be sustained well beyond the initial intervention. In addition, detailed architectural plans have been completed and are ready for implementation. These plans provide a clear roadmap for transforming the school environment through classroom improvements, upgraded sanitation facilities, and safer recreational spaces. For us, this early stage represents more than preparation — it reflects the beginning of a shared commitment between the Foundation and the community to create a safer, more supportive learning environment for children. As implementation begins, we look forward to turning vision into visible impact and documenting the progress that will define our first success story.
